Baulkham Hills Baseball Club – (Kookaburras)

Who We Are

  • The Baulkham Hills Baseball Club, nicknamed the Kookaburras, is a community-run club established in 1969 located in the Hills District of Sydney

  • The club fields a senior State League team across multiple grades: Under 18, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade, and 1st Grade

  • They also compete in the NSW Women’s League with 1st Grade and 2nd Grade women’s teams

Our Achievements

  • The State League side has been a top-performing NSW club since the late 1970s.

  • Multiple Club Championships and 1st Grade Premiership titles, with their inaugural 1st Grade title secured in 1982

Home Ground & Location

  • Northmead Reserve, located on Elizabeth Crescent, Northmead NSW 2152, serves as the club’s primary playing and training venue

  • State League mid‑week games may also be held at venues such as Blacktown International Sports Park, depending on scheduling

How to Get Involved

  • Trials are held in July/August each year—ideal for aspiring players.

  • Membership options: participate in State League, Women’s League, or local Pacific Coast League.

  • Contact the club via email, or visit during trainings/games at Northmead Reserve.

Competition & Structure

  • The team competes in the NSW State Baseball League, featuring a four‑division format: Under 18, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st Grade.

  • The State League represents the highest amateur level in NSW. There are eight clubs in the league, each required to field teams in all divisions

Training & Trials

  • The club holds State League trials each July, inviting players aiming to compete at the highest level in NSW
